Neoma LaRue Collins Allen, 92, passed away Aug. 14, 2020, after suffering a stroke.
Neoma was born Aug. 12, 1928, in the community of Rochester in Haskell County.
She was the only child of Versie Irene Roach Collins and Earl Edward Collins. At age 2, she and her family moved to Jonesboro, which she considered to be her childhood home. Her father worked in nearby Gatesville at the Boys Reform School.…
