Notes from the Mayor

On a personal note, I want to thank Capt. Keith Kraatz, Lieutenant Cortney Renfro and Chief Deputy Ron Schmidt for their service to the citizens of Hamilton and Hamilton County. Together they combined to have 55 years in law enforcement and their influence and knowledge was immeasurable. While they will be missed, we are fortunate to still have experienced Sheriff’s Deputies who are dedicated to serving the citizens of Hamilton and Hamilton County and I ask for your prayers for their safety as they serve and protect us. I wish all the best for Capt. Kraatz, Lieutenant Renfro and Chief Deputy Schmidt in whatever their next endeavor may be.

HPL gets grant

HPL gets grant

Hamilton Public Library, through the Friends of Hamilton Public Library, has been awarded a $10,000 TNMP Power Grant from Texas-New Mexico Power. The funding will allow the library to purchase new Lego Robotics kits and upgrade outdated laptops, strengthening one of its most popular STEAM programs.
