A whole slew of new laws are now in effect including where Texas with Disabled Veteran license plates owners can park, a requirement for residential rental landlords to notify renters if the property is in a 100-year floodplain and changes to property tax exemptions.
Hamilton County was represented at the annual meeting of the state’s largest general farm and ranch organization in December. Two delegates from Hamilton County Farm Bureau traveled to Corpus Christi Dec. 3-5 where they helped shape the policy direction of Texas Farm Bureau (TFB).
