AARP: Get ready for high power costs
AUSTIN – As temperatures rise and Texans rely heavily on air conditioning in their homes, AARP Texas seeks to educate consumers, including older Texans, on how to protect themselves against the rising costs of electricity and other utility expenses.

Court issues regulations for fireworks in county
Hamilton County commissioners Tuesday morning placed some restrictions on fireworks, OK’d a contract for software installation and continued working on the 2022-23 proposed budget.
Fiery wreck claims four
A fiery accident last Thursday on Highway 281 north of Hamilton claimed the lives of two adults and two children.
