COLD BITE- Pets and their owners alike were perplexed to find their lawns peppered with ice Sunday morning. Though temperatures reached near-50s Sunday morning, ice pellets lined the roadways and littered the fields, coating the countryside with a wintry appearance following a late night thunderstorm that pelted much of Hamilton County with small hail. Scooby Lengefeld says it tasted like Sonic ice.
HCT’s ‘Just Desserts’ this weekend at Circle T

Long captures win at Fort Worth show
Presley Long, an FFA member from Hamilton, captured Reserve Grand Champion Heifer and Reserve Junior Champion Heifer with T38 TicTac in the Junior Red Angus Heifer Show at the 2024 Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo Jan. 21. The 2024 Show is hosting junior exhibitors from across Texas competing for awards and more than $34,350 in junior breeding heifer show premiums.
