SONGWRITER JUDGE- Marty Haggard, son of country music legend Merle Haggard, will judge and perform at Bosque Arts Center’s Texas Troubadour Songwriter Classic. The contest, which awards $3000 to songwriters and singer/songwriters, has an entry deadline of Aug. 3. The live concert event is Nov. 6.

CAMP EAGLE- Hamilton junior high students from First Baptist and other local churches attended Camp Eagle Christian Adventure Camp last week in Rocksprings. They joined high school students, pictured at right before canoing the Pecos River, who went to the camp four days earlier. The students enjoyed outdoor adventures while building relationships and learning Biblical truths.
