Hamilton County Farm Bureau held its 63rd Annual County Convention Saturday evening with more than 120 in attendance for the meeting and dinner at St. John Lutheran Church’s Family Life Center.

FCCLA students taught a lesson over bus safety to Ann Whitney Elementary kindergarten classes during National Bus Safety Week Oct. 18-22. Buses are the safest mode of travel for children to get to school, according to the Department of Public Safety. When drivers see a school bus on the road, they should always give them plenty of room, knowing they stop frequently. Drivers must stop if a bus has flashing lights and its stop sign out.
