The Hamilton Community Center is offering a free, hot meal Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. for anyone who would like to come by and eat.
AUTHOR-ILLUSTRATOR- Misti Polster and daughter Emma Reich welcomed guests and signed copies of their new book, “When Daddy Comes Home,” Saturday at the Hamilton Herald-News. Polster is the author, and Reich the illustrator.
She lived through the Great Depression, Pearl Harbor attack and even a man being put on the moon for the first time.
- Ann Whitney Elementary third grader Madison Evans won Grand Champion and Reserve Champion Market Steer and Grand Champion mini–Hereford Heifer in the Jr Show and Open Show at the American Royal Stock Show. She was also presented with the Premiere Exhibitor Award.
A TIME TO HAUNT - A creepy guy gets ready to scare participants on the annual Haunted Trail set up by Girl Scout Troop No. 4223 on Oct. 29- 30 on the Pecan Creek Trail. The annual trail event acts as a fundraiser for the troop and brings out volunteers, and spooktacular creatures each year.
