TOURING FUN - The Bosque River Chapter of Daughters of the Republic of Texas met for lunch at New York Hill Restaurant in Mingus May 10, followed by a tour of the W.K. Gordon Center for Industrial History of Texas. During the meeting the new Texas Honor Day, The Treaty of Velasco, signed on May 14, 1836, was explained by prospective new member Sarah Jane Patton Miller.
