A day dedicated to service, Hamilton Junior High students served the community on Saturday by cleaning up the school grounds, painting the Williams Addition basketball court lines and by hosting a free car wash at the Hamilton Volunteer Fire Department. Several high school athletes also helped out by clearing brush in the local cemeteries. Courtesy photos
Hamilton Community Center is open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday. Meals are served at 11:30 a.m. each day. Menu subject to change.

I f buildings could talk, the brick building on the corner of East Boynton and North Bell would have a novel’s worth of stories about how Hamilton and the world have changed since it was put up in the early 1900s.
Hamilton County’s Blue Ridge Cemetery will host a dedication celebration April 25 to celebrate the community’s restoration project that updated the historical portion and added more plots.
