At left, Sophomore Caleb Lengefeld placed sixth individually at the Region I-3A cross country meet in Lubbock on Monday to earn an invitation to the state meet to be held in Round Rock on Saturday, November 9.

After slaying the Lady Bangs Dragons the previous Tuesday for their first district win of the season, the varsity Lady Bulldogs returned to the court in Comanche on Tuesday of last week and defeated the Maidens in three decisive sets, 25-17, 25-18 and 25-21, to move to 2-6 in district competition.

The eighth grade volleyball team placed second behind only Dublin in the District 8-3A final standings.
