John Sylvester Nordstrom, 81, died peacefully at 9:05 p.m. on Good Friday, April 3, 2026, at Matusik Family Care Home in Orange City, Florida, of respiratory failure following a diagnosis of interstitial lung disease three years prior. He had been living with his daughter, Michelle Kaleniak, of Enterprise, Florida, until February 2026, when his condition declined significantly.
