Because of concerns for inclement weather this week, Hamilton county Farm Bureau has rescheduled Food Connection Day for next Wednesday, Feb. 12.

Final figures are in for the Hamilton County Livestock Show held Jan. 8 through Jan. 11. This year’s show paid out more than $166,000 to Hamilton County youth.

Because of impending winter weather, the Area Spelling Bee has been rescheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 11, at 10 a.m.​at the Chandler Craig Auditorium at Hamilton High School. Third through eighth grade students from Hamilton and Hico schools will compete, and the winner will earn the opportunity to compete at the Regional Spelling Bee in March at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth.
