CHRISTMAS STAR- Sutton Lee captured this photo of the “Christmas Star” Monday evening from his vantage point at Heritage Place east of town. The astral phenomenon is actually a planetary conjunction between Jupiter and Saturn, which makes them appear close in the sky. This is the closest they will appear to one another since 1623 and the closest observable since 1226, according to Dick Campbell of the Meyer Observatory near Clifton. Hamiltonians scrambled to get a good view Monday. Who would imagine a star could bring such joy in 2020?

BROTHERHOOD- Brothers Shane and Wyatt Catoe are like-minded when it comes to serving their community. 2020 Hamilton High School graduate Shane, left, is now a certified structural firefighter, recently passing the state certification exam after receiving his certificate of completion from the McLennan Community College Emergency Services Education Center.
