STEPHENVILLE — Tarleton State University Night at Globe Life Park in Arlington is set for 3 p.m. Saturday, July 16, when the Texas Rangers host the Seattle Mariners.

What a great summer reading program, Oceans of Possibilities! Thank you to all who donated and volunteered to help with this program. A great big thank you to Nancy Diaz, library director, Stacey Moore, library staff, and Rhonda Baker, volunteer, for putting in the extra hours developing and organizing this program. We all saw great smiles on all the children’s faces as they enjoyed books, crafts, science experiements, games and loads of snacks and prizes.

Hamilton Community Center serves free meals on weekdays for anyone who wants to eat.

TEMPLE – Extraco Banks® has closed on the sale of its downtown Temple financial center to Austin investors, Redeem Investments, who plan to renovate the 10-story building that makes up part of the iconic Temple skyline.

Hamilton County Hospital District Board of Directors last week approved purchase of a new electronic health record system as well as medical staff appointments for the district.
