The road to success

The public is invited to the opening awards reception for the High School Student Art Show at the Bosque Arts Center on Saturday, Mar. 4, at 2 p.m. Students from Clifton, Hamilton, Valley Mills, and Cranfills Gap are represented in this show sponsored by the BAC Art Council.

Whether it is on the basketball court, the pageant stage, cheer mat or science room, Izzy Starr, a fifth grader at Ann Whitney Elementary, is a dazzler.

The USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) and the Hamilton- Coryell Soil and Water Conservation Districts are seeking input from the public on how to best serve local citizens through Farm Bill conservation programs and technical assistance.

KEEPING HAMILTON BEAUTIFUL - Hope House volunteers help collect tires during Saturday’s household waste collection

FCCLA made cupcakes and Valentines for the Focused Care residents and played some games with them during FCCLA week. Classees picked up trash around the school, thanked teachers and staff with snacks and drinks. They also put drinks and snacks in the teachers lounge at the jr high and elementary. Courtesy Photo
