Hamilton Mayor Rodney Craddick and Hamilton County Commissioner Lloyd Huggins will be herding Lions Friday on the south sidewalk of the square. Together they will be cooking up delicious hamburgers for Hamilton Community Center.

PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT- Jonesboro High School student Maddox Stroud works on a haircut for Rickie Sowell under the direction of Hamilton Cosmetology instructor Danna Farmer on his first customer of the day Tuesday morning. The award-winning cosmetology program is in its seventh year of providing low-cost services to the community in exchange for the experience needed to complete the course. Appointments are available Tuesdays and Thursdays 8-10 a.m. and 1:30-4 p.m. Call 254-386-4465 or email dfarmer@hamiltonisd.org. It’s Homecoming Week at Evant ISD! There is just something about homecoming week in a small town that is so exciting! It is a time for our community to come together to show that Elk Pride, reunite with old friends, and relive cherished memories in a wonderfully unique small-town fashion. Homecoming is always a time to rekindle those old friendships and reminisce about school days gone by. It is a time for Elk Alumni to share stores and updates on all that has happened in each other’s lives over the years. It is time to be present with each other and honor our Evant Elk legacy!
