Thomas Walsh

Thomas Edgar Walsh passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Sept. 22, 2019.

A visitation was held at Riley Funeral Home on Sunday, Sept. 29, and funeral services were held at the funeral home Monday, Sept. 30, with burial following in Oakwood Cemetery.

Thomas was born Feb. 12, 1955, to Jerry and Betty (Hill) Walsh in San Antonio. He spent the majority of his life as a Hamilton resident after serving in the US Army as a military policeman.

Thomas welcomed his daughters into the world after serving in the military.

He then met and married his beloved wife, Brenda Cavett.

Thomas loved fishing, telling stories and sharing the word of God. He loved to put a smile on anyone’s face.

Driving his big rig for 40-plus years kept Thomas busy, but he was never too busy to spend time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and granddaughter, Bailey Webb.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda; daughters Shanna Walsh and Stephanie Walsh; stepsons Josh Webb, Terry Webb and Bryan Cavett; sisters Robbi Cowley and Kay Wynne; many grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and an abundance of friends.
