Thursday, July 16, 2020

Raymond D. Blansit of Hamilton passed away peacefully at home on July 2, 2020.

Raymond is now in Glory worshipping Jesus for eternity as he waits for all that he knew and lived to follow him and join him at home.

For those wishing to pay respects or remember Raymond, there will be a celebration of life at Faith Baptist Church Aug. 22 at 9:30 a.m.

Raymond was born March 12, 1947. He was loved very much by his family and by the community of Hamilton that he called home. He was a big fan of the Hamilton Bulldog Football team. He never missed a game and could be found standing next to the chain-link fence cheering on his team next to his friend Kevin Gilmore.

He was a veteran of the Hamilton Volunteer Fire Department.

Raymond is survived by his loving wife of 38 years Earlene Blansit as well as his two daughters, Delinda Stark and Donna Wallace and his stepdaughter Janna Hamilton; his sister Linda Lovelace formerly of Hamilton.

The family would like to thank his church, Faith Baptist, his friend and pastor Ron Lowe as well as the fire department, the community and Solaris Hospice for their support, prayers and care over the last few weeks.
