Kenneth Hohertz

Kenneth “Bootie” Hohertz, 77, passed away April 20, 2021, in Comanche County.

A memorial service was held April 24 at Zion Lutheran Church in Priddy.

He was born March 30, 1944, in Grand Prairie to Arthur August and Frieda Wilhelmina (Tieman) Hohertz.

He was a farmer, rancher and loving father and grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister Melbadean Tarter; brother Lee Roy Hohertz; sister-in-law Virginia Hargrove; and second wife Nettie Hohertz.

He is survived by his children, Wayland Hohertz and wife Jo Ann of Newburg, Deanna Hisaw of Odessa, Mark Doremus of Brownwood, Steve Butler of Brookesmith and Shaun Hohertz of Priddy; brother Charles Hohertz and Dixie Crouch; sister Ester Pearl Hennig and husband Calvert; brother-in-law, Jack Tarter; 11 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
