Joe Parish
Joe Parish, 84, passed from this life after a short illness on Jan. 12, 2019.
Visitation was Tuesday, Jan. 15, and services set for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Riley Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Pottsville Cemetery.
Mr. Parish was born July 25, 1934, in Camden County Missouri.
He moved to Dallas in 1955 and subcontracted window washing from Acme Building Maintenance. He designed rigging used on several high rise buildings.
He married his wife Doris on April 1, 1975. Joe and Doris started Tri State Building Services Inc. in 1977. He was owner and CEO until the time of his death. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and family man. He loved his children, grandchildren and golf dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Otto and Burleigh Parish, three brothers, a sister, and a son, Joe D. Parish.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 43 years Doris; sister Joyce Herndon; children Rhonda Patton and husband Roger, Susan Edwards and husband Randy, Pam Partin and husband Cliff, Larry Parish, Ricky Strain, Ronnie Strain and wife Susan and Raylene Sommers and husband Troy; 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
