Christy Renteria
Christy Joann Brumbalow Renteria went to be with the Lord on Aug. 5, 2022.
A celebration of life service will be Saturday, Aug. 27, at 11 a.m. at Victory Temple Christian Fellowship, 724 W. Coke St. Hamilton, followed by a meal.
Christy was born Nov. 23, 1976, in Goldthwaite to Jimmy and Brenda Brumbalow. She was the oldest of five siblings.
Christy married the love of her life, Lupe, on June 14, 2014, in Mineral Wells and was blessed with the most amazing, dedicated and loving husband a woman could ask for.
She was one of the most loveable people in the whole world, and anyone that knew her knows this. She was like another mom to all of her nieces and nephews and any other kid around. She loved with her whole heart and had one of the biggest hearts ever. If anyone ever needed anything she would always be there to help out.
She was blessed with her stepdaughter and grandbaby and loved them with all her heart.
Christy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Joan Uriate, Alex Brumbalow and Mae Brumbalow.
She is survived by her husband Guadalupe Renteria of Mineral Wells; stepdaughter Jessica Martinez and husband Israel and grandbaby Andrea Christina; parents Jimmy and Brenda Brumbalow of Hamilton; sister Melissa Gonzales of Mineral Wells; three brothers, Jimmy Brumbalow Jr. and wife Renae, Billy Brumbalow and wife Paige and Jeff Brumbalow and wife Ashley, all of Hamilton; grandpa Adolfo Uriarte of Mineral Wells; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and inlaws.
Christy will be missed by all and live on in our hearts and memories forever. We love you and know you’re flying high with the angels.
