The Hamilton Bulldogs are heading to College Station this Thursday and Friday to compete in the Texas 7 on 7 State Football Championships. The Dogs punched a ticket to state back in mid-May by defeating Comanche, Dublin and host Millsap during the first qualifying tournament of the season.

SUMMER HOOPS: Junior high and high school Lady Bulldog basketball players have tipped off the summer with hardcourt enthusiasm. Intersquad three-on-three competition will continue this Thursday from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the Larry Eilers Gymnasium, and following final games in Glen Rose on Tuesday of this week, Hamilton's junior varsity and varsity squads will transition to summer league play in Lampasas. Games in Lampasas are scheduled for each Thursday evening throughout the month of June.
