TFM to light stands 4th of July

READY...

After a months-long wait, Texas football enthusiasts will soon be able to whet their appetites with the much anticipated arrival of Dave Campbell’s Texas Football Magazine. The publication’s 65th edition is scheduled to begin landing in newsstands across Texas this Thursday, July 4.

With the University of Texas set to join the ranks of the Southeastern Conference this season, the cover fittingly features veteran quarterbacks Quinn Ewers of UT and Conner Weigman of Texas A&M facing off, separated only by the words, “RIVALRY REBORN.”

FAMILY APPRECIATION

Photos by Tracy Cox FAMILYAPPRECIATIONLast Saturday the Perry Country Club hosted the Gardner Family Appreciation Golf Tournament, Live Auction and Dinner. More than 40 teams of three tee’d off . A meal was provided for golfers and the community with donations. The meal consisted of bbq chicken, sausage, brisket, baked beans, potato salad and all the trimmings. Greg Eilers smoked the meat and PCC provided everything else.
