STRIKE: In five innings of work, Bryson Tarpley (pictured) struck out seven and allowed just three hits last week versus Coleman. The Dogs fell to the visiting Bluecats 5-3 in a controversial ballgame that saw an obvious grand slam by Chase Weaver erased due to an umpire mistakenly calling Weaver’s apparent four-run dinger over the right field fence a foul ball. Video evidence reviewed following the game showed the ball exiting the field in fair territory. Photo by Julie Weaver
