SAN ANTONIO SHOOTOUT CHAMPION - Colton Christian, a junior at Hamilton High School, won the FFA Modified Trap Open Boys Championship earning a $10,000 scholarship, championship buckle and other gifts. Christian competed against 1057 participants.
Agricultural producers who have not yet enrolled in the Agriculture Risk Coverage or Price Loss Coverage programs for the 2022 crop year have until March 15 to sign a contract.
The Cross Timbers Prescribed Burn Association (CTPBA) will meet on Saturday, March 5, at 9 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church Family Center located at 122 Cheyenne Mesa, Hamilton. In a split vote Monday evening, Hamilton Independent School District board of trustees voted not to approve one-year extensions for HISD administrators, Superintendent Clay Tarpley reported Tuesday morning.
