Jonesboro I.S.D. announced last week that members of this season’s 11-2 Fighting Eagles football team landed a District 14-1A Most Valuable Player award, 12 first team all-district nods and two second team all-district honors.
The Eagles claimed their 13th consecutive district championship this season, posting a 4-0 District 14-1A record with wins over May, Lometa, Santa Anna and Evant.
