DISTRICT CHAMPS: The Cranfills Gap Lions posted a 7-4 playoff record this season and earned district wins over Morgan, Walnut Springs, Iredell and Kopperl to claim a District 12-1A, Division 2 championship with a perfect 4-0 record. Last week, the Lions fell to the Mike Reed led Gordon Longhorns in the bi-district round of the playoffs, 68-20, to bring an end to a successful 2021 campaign.
