The Hamilton Bulldogs lost their district opener in 3A D2 District 5, 34-38, to the Rio Vista Eagles. The real deal season started Friday, Sept.
18, as all of the new district was put on notice by the Rio Vista Eagles’ ability to run the ball and get themselves out of difficult situations.
Hamilton’s offense was challenged Friday night as a majority of their offensive drives only lasted 4-6 plays.
