The sails of Hamilton’s Madi Simms-led Lady Bulldog softball team caught wind last week. Despite falling to district opponents Moody and first-in-state-ranked Jonesboro, the now 7-11 on the year and 0-3 in district Diamond Dogs won four out of six ball games in a span of five days and batted in four straight victories while competing in the Gatesville Tournament on Thursday and Saturday.
