Evant, J’boro bonds pass
Hamilton’s new mayor is Todd Jordan, and new and reelected councilmen are John Couch for an unexpired one-year term and Doug Baker and James Hooper for two-year terms.
For mayor, incumbent Richard Buchanan received 59 votes and Brandon Gomez 26 to Jordan’s 173.
For council, Couch received 184 votes, Baker 175 and Hooper 116.
