Freshman Tayte Haile cleared a personal best height of 9-6 to win the area pole vault competition last Thursday in Rio Vista, and her teammate, Emma Ensor, topped 9-0 to place second in the event. Both high-flying pole vaulters will represent Hamilton High School at the regional meet in Springtown.
