Hamilton’s Gary Christian was part of the 100th Austin Honor Flight last weekend.
Gary had been on a waiting list for a while for an honor flight to see the memorials and monuments in Washington, D.C.
He said it was a trip of a lifetime. Benefactors Nyle and Nancy Maxwell, a car dealer in Taylor and Austin, funded his trip with 61 other Vietnam veterans.
