Summer break didn’t start out quite as expected for Hamilton Junior High math teacher, Mary Jo Wright.
She and her husband, Chris, left Hamilton at 4:45 a.m. Friday morning, May 23 to help friends work cattle between Mc-Gregor and Lorena.
It was all routine – doctoring calves, castrating bull calves and administering routine shots and wormer.
The two bulls on the property were penned with the calves.
