In an effort to avoid the heat, the annual Memorial Day ceremony at the Hamilton Veterans Memorial has been moved up to 9 a.m. Monday.
American Legion Cunningham Post #222 will host the ceremony on the Hamilton Historic Museum grounds. Seating will be available for 200 under a large tent.
