Many turned out on the courthouse lawn last Thursday for National Day of Prayer. At right, Rev. James Hooper of Victory Church leads a prayer, and far right, Halston Haile led some hymns. Also participating were pastors Dr. Drew Dabbs of First Baptist and Rev. Aaron Kalbas from St. John Lutheran as well as City Attorney Connie White and Lt. Michael Essien from Fort Cavazos.
