Upper Leon Municipal Water District notified the City of Hamilton last Friday that the chlorine conversion from chloramines to free chlorine for city water disinfectant has been completed and the switch back to chloramines has begun.
The conversion, which began Sept. 17, was a two-step, 30-day process, which began with the conversion to free chlorine and ended with a return to chloramines.
