It’s official.
Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, under the direction of sheriff- elect Brad Boulton, will provide law enforcement services for the city and county effective Tuesday, Oct. 1.
“The city’s police department lines will not be operational as of Oct. 1,” said Boulton, who is the former chief of Hamilton Police Department. “We wanted to make clear that it will transfer to the 911 center.”
