An accident on Highway 281 south of Hamilton last Monday, July 1, turned into a three-county incident that only script writers could predict.
According to Texas Department of Public Safety, a pickup truck was stolen in Austin and driven as far as Lampasas, where it hit a tree.
Lampasas County Sheriff’s Department received a call shortly after that a golf cart had been stolen from an area barn.
