Floodwaters destroy many museum artifacts

Last month’s flood damage continues to add up for the Hamilton County Historical Museum located at 115 W. Henry St.

“We had between six to eight inches of water come in the lower level of our building,” said Museum President Coni Guinn.

“Behind a locked door we found files of paperwork and old photos sitting on the floor.”

Since the flood, all the carpeting and paneling on the walls have been removed…
