Hamilton’s city council was unable to conduct business Thursday evening because of lack of quorum.
Under the election code 67.004A only two council members are required to constitute a quorum to canvas a city election.
Councilman George Beard, Councilman Richard Buchanan and Mayor Rodney Craddick made up the required quorum to canvas the votes for the May 4 municipal election.
