In coordination with the Central Texas Council of Governments, Hamilton County and the cities of Hamilton and Hico, are updating the Hamilton County Hazard Mitigation Plan.
The plan update will address natural hazards that affect the area. The goal of the plan update is to minimize or eliminate the longterm risk to human life and property from known hazards through effective mitigation.
