After a weeklong trial last week in Stephenville, Garrett Dale Reeves, 23, was sentenced to 30 years in prison in the 2022 shooting of his father, Hamilton County Auditor Kent Reeves.
Garrett Reeves was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon against a family member, a first-degree felony with punishment of five to 99 years and a fine up to $10,000.
