While sitting in the kitchen late Tuesday evening Michael Beaty and his daughter heard what sounded like an electrical arc popping in the attic.
Beaty ran to the living room to see the ceiling sheetrock blistering, so he cut the power off. After calling 911 and waking up his wife Carol the fire was quickly put out.
