Only one person has filed for a seat on the Hamilton City Council, while four so far have filed for Hamilton Independent School District Board of Directors.
Three seats will be filled on the council, and three on the school board.
Mayor Pro Tem Todd Jordan has filed for re-election in the city race, and Andy Ivey, Steven Watson, Connie Z. White and Nancy Diaz have filed for school board.
