The arrival of 240 bound genealogy volumes was cause for celebration last week at Hamilton Public Library.
While there is still a lot of work to be done before the genealogy section can be accessed by the public, Library Director Nancy Diaz says this is a huge step forward.
“This is the first batch,” she said. “These books represent 38 boxes of materials from 253 counties in Texas.”
