In special session Aug. 21, Hamilton City Council changed its direction of changing downtown zoning by making no changes to the standing ordinance.
For months, the council has sparred with some members of the downtown business about a downtown overlay originally presented by Hamilton Economic Development Corporation and proposed to the council by way of the Planning and Zoning Commission.
