Evant Independent School District board of trustees and superintendent released a joint statement Monday announcing the resignation of Superintendent Dr. Brenda O. Martinez.
According to the release, an agreement was reached permitting the board to pursue hiring another superintendent. Dr. Jennifer Ingram has been named the Interim Superintendent.
