Memorial Day is always a day of remembrance but in Hamilton this year, the day is extra special as the long-awaited Hamilton County Veterans Memorial is being dedicated.
The memorial is located beside the Hamilton County Historical Museum at 113 W. Henry St. and will be dedicated in a ceremony from 10 a.m. to noon Monday, May 30, by American Legion Cunningham Post No. 222.
