The good Lord was looking after my family last Thursday afternoon.
There were a series of fires that were started along Hwy. 36 east of Hamilton that afternoon. One of the fires started next to our ranch.
It just so happened that the U.S. Forestry Service was driving by headed to McGregor. It also “just so happen” they had three bulldozers with them.
